Who we are
A neighborhood seafood house
The Catch Seafood & Sushi is a locally owned restaurant in West Palm Beach offering fresh seafood, sushi and Peruvian-Asian inspired cuisine.
We pair a relaxed tropical atmosphere with creative cocktails, the freshest ingredients we can find and warm hospitality. Come for ceviche and a cocktail on the patio, a sushi night at the counter, or a long dinner with family and friends. We also host weekly specials, family-friendly community events and private gatherings.
How we got here Owner to confirm
- 2015
The Catch opens
Jorge Paz and Tara Barnes open The Catch on Northlake Boulevard in Lake Park, and it becomes a local favorite for seafood, sushi and Peruvian flavor.
- 2025
A new home
The Lake Park chapter closes, and the owners find a space in Northwood Village. Within weeks they are renovating it into a tropical seafood house with a palm-thatched patio.

Full bar, Sushi counter, Dining room, Outdoor lawn and tiki patio. Right in the heart of Northwood Village.

Do I need a reservation?
Call ahead for preferred seating or special occasions. Walk-ins welcome at our bar and sushi counter. Parties of 12 or more, please call ahead. Call (561) 842-2180 or request a table online.
Are you open for lunch?
Yes, on Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM. The rest of the week we open at 4 PM for dinner.
When is Happy Hour?
Monday to Friday, 4 PM, at the bar, the sushi counter and on the patio.
Do you do takeout or delivery?
Yes. Order online for pickup, or for delivery to nearby ZIP codes, or call us at (561) 842-2180.
Can you host a private party?
Yes. We host birthdays, rehearsal dinners, company nights and group dinners with custom menus. Send us the details on our Private Events page and we will get back to you.
Is The Catch family friendly?
Yes. Families are welcome, and we host family-friendly community events. Check the Events page for what is coming up.
Do you have vegetarian options, and can you handle allergies?
Yes, there are vegetarian dishes on the menu. Dietary tags are a guide, not a guarantee. Our kitchen handles fish, shellfish, soy, wheat, egg, dairy, sesame and tree nuts. Please tell your server about any allergy before you order.
